Day 11: Klamath Falls, OR to Kennewick, WA (400 miles)
Today began with a cool ride from Klamath up to Crater Lake, one of the more stunning lakes you will ever see. The ride was not on the planned route, but was well worth the side trip that many of us took. However, we finished out the day with hundreds of miles of virtually nothing but heat...oh yeah, they set a new record today in Oregon and Washington. Lucky us!

Crater Lake is gorgeous from every angle. Good friends of ours, Mike and Nan (EV's you will recognize them) are also on the Posse Ride and stopped to take in the sites just like us.

Leaving Crater Lake with one of the many volcanic mountains in the distance.
