Day 17: Sioux Falls, SD to Kansas City, MO (425 miles)

Today was a true "Road Warrior" day. We started in South Dakota, headedinto Minnesota, scooted through Iowa, breezed through Nebraska, and finally found our way into Kansas City, Missouri. Daybreak riding through the immaculate farm lands of Minnesota and Iowa was the highlight of the day with the rest of the day being pure time in the saddle. We crossed the Missouri river several times today as well. As usual, the day ended with a Posse Ride dinner with live entertainment at a sponsoring dealership, this one being Worth Harley-Davidson North, where the HOG Chapter treated us like royalty with their stunning hospitality.

Even though today required a lot of time in the saddle, there is always time to stop at a local eatery to meet the folks and enjoy their home cooking. This cafe in Tekamah, Nebraska also serves as the town's bus stop.
