Day 19: Fort Smith, AR to Eunice, LA (463 miles)

Today was an amazing day that truly cannot be put into words.  We met up with friends and hit the road at 6:30am for a very special side trip down into the Heart of Cajun Country as the rest of the Posse all rode to Shreveport, Louisiana.  Mike and Nan graciously offered to take us on a journey we never would have experienced had it not been for their introduction.  Before we could experience this amazing town and its people and traditions, we first had to get there.  Let’s just say that it took us almost five hours to travel 125 miles in torrential rain, thunder and lightning today. But we made it and our little Posse now has a Road Story to tell for the rest of our riding days.

We finally made it to State #22 on the Western Campaign  . . . . Louisiana.  We did it!
